Text Messaging Program

Practisaurus (practisaurus.app) is a practice-management platform operated by OmgSamesies LLC. On behalf of the healthcare practices that use it, Practisaurus sends appointment-related text messages to practice clients who have expressly consented to receive them. This page is the complete, public description of that message program: what we send, every way consent is collected, and how to opt out.

What we send

Transactional account notifications only, tied to the client's own appointments and account:

  • a link to check in on arrival for an appointment;
  • appointment reminders;
  • notice that an appointment was rescheduled or canceled; and
  • an alert that a new message is waiting in the client's account.

We never send marketing or promotional messages, and this program involves no affiliate marketing or lead generation of any kind. Messages deliberately contain no clinical details.

Program disclosures

  • Who is texting: Practisaurus (OmgSamesies LLC), on behalf of the client's own healthcare practice.
  • Message frequency varies with the client's appointments.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Help is also available from the client's practice or help@practisaurus.app.
  • Consent is freely given and is never a condition of receiving care, booking an appointment, or completing any transaction. Clients who decline are simply reached by email instead.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How consent is collected

Messages are sent only to clients with consent on record. Consent is collected in exactly two ways, and both are recorded in the client's record with a timestamp and, where staff recorded it, who recorded it.

1. Online, while booking an appointment

When a new client books an appointment through a practice's public booking page, the account-creation step offers an optional mobile phone field with an unchecked consent checkbox. The client checks the box to give express written consent to appointment texts; the disclosure beside it states the program brand and what the messages are, that consent is not a condition of booking or care, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, the STOP and HELP keywords, customer care contact information (help@practisaurus.app), and that mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing — with links to the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and this page. Booking completes identically whether or not the box is checked.

2. At intake with the practice, in writing or verbally

A client may instead give their practice express consent during intake — on a written intake form or verbally. Practice staff then record that consent in the client's record using a dedicated consent control in Practisaurus, which stores when consent was recorded and by whom. The control's own text restates the disclosures so staff only record consent that was actually given.

Confirmation, HELP, and STOP

When consent is recorded, the client's first message confirms the opt-in:

A STOP reply suppresses all further messages to that number until the client themselves opts back in.
